I've ben buying the organic/natural pb too - agree that un-doctored it is beyond gross (unpallitable really!) However, some salt and lots of splenda (lots of packets not the bagged - makes big difference) and now it tastes like reeses Peanut Butter goodness!!!

Hi everyone! I was banded on 4/6 and am on mushies/pureed food starting today. This forum has been so interesting to read and I thought I'd start posting my food journal. Look forward to meeting you all!

b-tall Decaf vanilla latte

l-1/3 cup mashed potates w/ 1 tbsp cheese and 1tbsp sour cream

d-1/4 cup ricotta bake--ricotta, spaghetti sauce and mozz cheese

Oh, this ricotta bake sounds delish! Perfect for a pureed diet, I'm guessing, unless the mozzarella isn't allowed? I don't know -- I'm not even banded yet. Do you put ground beef in the sauce? Mmm, I want this tonight! :)

WELCOME SWISHBC!

Made it through the night - hopefully a repeater - I'm probably going to repeat my meals because they were good.

My plan:

TODAY:

B: mango lassi Protein Shake

L: roasted red pepper Soup w/ greek yogurt mixed in and asiago :)

D: mocha/latte Protein shake

S's: will have at the ready if needed: (only had 1 pudding last night) - sf pudding, Jello, hot chocolate, another option - I had a little of the mango lassi protein shake left that I froze (kinda like my own dessert)

No I've been interested in trying it too - just normal (I usually do the sf but when I'm on liquids I'll allow a regular one) but I do always make it with milk - tastes so much better!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
