How far out are you? My opinion, which you can totally discard, is that once you are at a maintenance stage incorporating some frozen meals into the diet is a good way to play around with trying flavors. I followed maybe half of the rules of the diet largely because I have no desire to spend the rest of my life stuck in a diet where all I ever get to eat is chicken and cottage cheese. I didn't start incorporating frozen prepared foods until recently and I stopped doing it fairly quickly too. They tend to have a lot of sodium and preservatives and I noticed I ended up retaining Water a lot more when I ate them and I tend to feel a lot better when I try to stick to mostly stuff that isn't overly processed.

That being said though, life is about being able to eat and if you have a job where there is minimal opportunity for prep and the best thing you can eat a few days a week is an Atkins meal, well there are far more unhealthy options available. I used to eat Lean Cuisines like they were going out of style so I can appreciate the convenience of a hot meal. If you are newly sleeved, maybe try to limit the processed stuff initially just to avoid the sugars and sodium and to give your body its honeymoon period where it has the chance to drop a lot of weight quickly. After you're close to goal though or even after you've been following the plan for awhile, there's nothing wrong with trying frozen meals, especially if they are high in Protein.

I eat them all the time. I can usually finish about 1/2 to 3/4 although at times I've been able to eat the whole thing.

For me they are a great quick meal when I don't have time to cook.

I'm 5 wks post op. My dr said I can start trying different foods. I was probably able to get about 3-4 bites with a baby spoon. I don't think eating the whole thing in one day is a good idea due to the high sugar. My dietician doesn't want me to have more the 20 grams of fat a day. She wants me to eat more lean Protein and veggies since I was mostly eating yogurt cottage cheese and soft cheese she said that's to much dairy. It's also hard to prepare a meal for myself when I know I'm only going to eat about 1/4 th of it. Just thought Atkins would be a good choice. But yeah ur rite to much sodium and processed.

The whole goal of Atkins is low carbs. The frozen meals I looked at only had 1 to 3 grams of sugar.

As it so happens, I have a crust less chicken pot pie in my freezer. It says 2 grams of sugars. It has 22 gr of Protein and 22 gr of fat. When you're in ketosis you need the fat as that's what your body uses for energy.

I haven't tried it yet. Sadly, the crust is my favorite part.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
