BE HONEST PEOPLE, did anyone think okay they are going to cut my stomach and...

How many of you thought okay I am going to have this surgery and they are going to cut most of my stomach off and the weight will just drop off. Now I knew this surgery was different from the bypass but in know way did I think I would have to work so hard to loose a pound when I can't even eat but a few spoonfuls of anything. Now I am find with my slow progress BUT sometimes I sit back and say I did think this would be a little easier. Anyone else have those thoughts, I know dam well I am not the only one who is thinking this.

I was an extremely slow loser some months I lost nothing. I was working out 6 days a week, going to my monthly NUT appoints, following plan. And I lost at a snails pace. Then I would log on to forums and see the weight just falling off of other people. Even my cousin who had RNY said she could not believe how hard I was training. So yes, I had those thoughts. Although I tried not to compare myself it was a bit frustrating... I am a pear shape and it is known that is is very difficult to get rid of the lower half.

At 7 weeks out I think that every day!

@, I actually have this post in the Sleeve forums I posted it here by mistake. But girl I am like REALLY now I know the weight will come off but dang it is hard when you read other post. I need to stay off of here but I is hard when you get such good advise. When did you have your surgery and what was your starting weight?

My start weight was 265. I got down to about 219 prepregancy with the sleeve. My weight is back up after baby.

Just had my 12 week post op appt. I told my dr the same thing. I've lost 45lbs... Which I'm not complaining about but I don't eat a whole lot, I drink my Water and in moderately active and it's just so slow moving.

Some days I get so frustrated but when my dr said I can come off my insulin today.... The slow loss didn't bother me as much. No more insulin is a huge win. I'm doing something right!!
