:scared:I feel great today! I have a little pressure from gas in my shoulders but im actually really suprised how good i feel. I already got a walk in and now drinking broth. The worst part for me was the heprin shot in my leg for blood clots and the IV. I got a little woosey but after that it was all a blur! I had a hiatal hernia which they removed also. Had no clue it was there! Anyways im lookin forward to the NO INDIGESTION! I used to be so bad! Anyways wanna thank everyone for being there and its been a great journey so far. Who knows how the next couple weeks will go when i start wanting all the food again! :scalesno:

Congratulations!! I'm new to the site and I'm so impressed with the wealth of information I am finding. I would like to hear about your progress so keep us updated. I think its great to hear from someone who just had it done so recently. I'm waiting for a meeting with the person who is over our wellness program at work so I can get started on the process. I've already turned in my paperwork showing I am a candidate for the surgery. I am so excited and can't wait to get on the road to a healthier, happy life. Congratulations! You must be a real trooper if you are posting the day of your surgery! If (and when) I have my lap band surgery I plan to milk the pain (and the MORPHINE) for as long as I can! hee hee hee
