Hey guys Im at 9.8 and i can still eat a burger and fries and put it down. I have been off of work so been laying on my ass for 6 months and put on some weight i lost. Anyone else pretty full on their band and can still eat a lot? I remeber the nurse telling me she was at like 6ccs and could only eat like 2 crackers and a small thing of tuna and be so full she couldnt move. I must have an iron stomach?? OR? Anyone else like me? Let me know.Thanks

Here is what I can eat from 8 ccs in my band with a 10 cc band.. 6 fish sticks piece of lemon herb fish 14 crackers piece of cheese chicken noodle Soup the whole can 4 sugar free popsicles 14 crackers with cheese. Is this too much you think?:help:

I just had my first fill still dont feel that restricted. I dont wanna feel like i cant eat anything but i should feel a little more restricted. How many fills did it take to get you guys really restricted?:hungry:

Im scared to put my weight i lost back on before my fill any ideas? Im trying to get enough protein in but man IM Hungry and wanna eat eat!

Hey all! Almost a month out so far so good! Had a little spell the other night had hot sauce and my gas was built up in my band and so painful i went into shock! no more of that! My fill is July 30th and im ready since i have slowed in weight loss since i have started eating again. Went in and saw the doc and he showed me my band on the x ray monitor and made me drink some liquid and i watched it go down! It was so cool. Hope all is well!

I was doing well and got too cocky and was watching tv not paying attention and didnt chew my crackers good enough. I over stuffed myself! UGH ! That came up! NO MORE OF THAT!

Yes i so understand. I was sick of thinking about it and preparing for it mentally. I was lucky i got in 2 weeks after my first appt so that was good. But after is another set of worries and mental issues depression etc at first so it seems neverending! ITs hard enough having surgery and then u cant eat anything for 2 weeks after just liquids so your body has so much to adjust to. The 2 weeks has seemed like 4 months to me! I thought oh 2 weeks is nothing but it is when you are wanting that burger and fries or anything solid. I never knew soup could taste so good after being creative with it. This isnt easy but the benefits outweigh the bad parts of it. So hang in there!

You will like dr watkins he is very good. I had mine done on june 19th with him and been doing good. I start mushies on wed thank god. I thought i was gonna lose my mind with liquids! I cheated once but got right back on track. I was very depressed at first and still get that way when im feeling down and cant eat all that greasey food. Oh well life goes on. Hope all goes well.

Hey all was banded at NWWLS. They are all wonderful. Im 10 days out and im about to lose my mind with liquids! Only 4 days to go for mushies if i dont end up smacking someone first!

I SO FEEL YOU! Im on my 4th day and im a wreck! I miss my foods and IM SO SICK OF LIQUIDS i could scream. Im mentally drained! iM IN THE WORST MOOD! UGH! I WANNA THROW SOMETHING!

Im only on day 2 from being banded and man does it hurt to cough! Also my port area is swollen. It doesnt look infected its just swollen. Is this normal?

I just got banded today and i was feeling good but now not so much. Im afraid i wont be able to eat anyting good ever again and that really depresses me. Any thoughts? I cant wait for this pain to go away!

:scared:I feel great today! I have a little pressure from gas in my shoulders but im actually really suprised how good i feel. I already got a walk in and now drinking broth. The worst part for me was the heprin shot in my leg for blood clots and the IV. I got a little woosey but after that it was all a blur! I had a hiatal hernia which they removed also. Had no clue it was there! Anyways im lookin forward to the NO INDIGESTION! I used to be so bad! Anyways wanna thank everyone for being there and its been a great journey so far. Who knows how the next couple weeks will go when i start wanting all the food again! :scalesno:

Hey guys banded today feel great! The worst pain was the IV and blood thinning shot in leg but now i feel fine! I know im numbed up on meds so im feeling good right now. Thanks for all your support!:clap2:

Im scheduled for tues the 19th so we are all in it together! Im scared too but im sure we will be fine! Im having my last big dinner and cinnamon rolls ha!

Less than a week and i will be in bandland! Hope all is well with everyone. :clap2: I know this will change my life! It has so many others! I dont have any boyfriend or girlfriend stories like the rest but im not ready for any dating or drama right now! Its me time!!

WOW time is flying! I have my surgery in week and im getting nervous! Im scared I wont be able to eat again!! Yikez!! I know this anxiety is normal but im gonna need a sedative! :biggrin1:
