After Reading Everyone Elses Experience With The Lap-band Im Very Excited To Finally Have A Date Set. I'm A Little Worried Aboout That 30 Days After Sugery Where There Will Be No Restrictions For A Couple Of Weeks But I Just Can't Wait. I Think That Its Just A Dream And That Its Never Gonna Happen. Good for you! I hope its a good experience for you. If you haven't heard about the Book Fighting Weight By K. Ali (One of Mohamed Ali's daughters) it is great. She is the new spokeperson for the Lap Band Co. It has good info. and tells her personal journey (and her surgeion's). Get it if you can. I got mine at Barnes and Nobel. It would make a good recovery read! Good luck!

Congrats! My surgery is June 21st. I have been reading all the post about no restrictions too and my advice would be to follow the diet the Dr. prescribed and think about the band. Practice eating for your new lifestyle. Chew, chew, chew...

Thanks So Much Everyone. I Will Continue To Update Everyone. I Really Like This Website. Its Nice To Find People Who Truly Understand What Is Going On Because They Are In The Same Situation. I Really Can't Wait To Get This Surgery Done And Start Enjoying Life.

I have the same date--tomorrow; I'm psyched. Friends keep asking me if I'm nervous--maybe I should be, but, just getting to this point, I've gone from size 22 jeans to 20's and I'm almost ready for 18's. Once upon a time, a very short time, mind you, I was in size 8's. I'm looking forward to that again. I wish you all the luck. We made a good decision. Keep us all posted.
