Fill Dr in Memphis or North MS-lapband in Mexico
Someone on another thread is really hyping Dr. Woodman's patient client relationship to be very impressive. I have been placed on a waiting list for Dr. Weaver's office since July and had a scheduled appointment for October 22nd, only to get a call last week telling me to call back in January to reschedule, her new office wasn't ready for new patients. BTW I am a former patient of Dr. Tichansky; UT Medical Group, which closed in August of this year. I'm very disappointed. Just trying to get a fill.

- Trying to eat
I know this sounds awkward, however, in order to loose you have to be able to feed the muscles what they need to grow strong. I'm not doing a very good job of that right now. I can't get over 1000 a day, and to top it, I have some sort of upest stomach going on right now. I've been sick since last Thursday. Then my period came on Friday! This past week has been bad. I ran 5 miles yesterday and will try to repeat today after my daughters meeting. Stay blessed all!- Trying to eat

Wow, I didn't know it was that indepth. I know what to tell pre-op people. Thanks!- Anyone able to eat cheese
Hi all! I've been afraid of cheese too! I think it is because of it's thickness. I will try some extra sharp over the weekend.- Mineral Supplements, what do you take?
Hello, I think this depends on how much physical activity you are doing. If you are doing intense training, cardio and strength, you may need something stronger. May I suggest if you are, GNC's Women's Ultra Mega Active Multi vitamin. Great product. It has electrolyte replacement, bone health and antioxident support.- Overeating? and PBing
Does PB mean "progressive burping?" Is it bad to burp?:cry- Poll: Are you glad you were banded?
Actually day of surgery I was 245. I've lost 28 pounds since surgery. I lost 24 pre-op. I haven't had a fill as of yet, I wouldn't be able to eat. I will schedule one when my band loosens up. Keep in mind, results vary.:clap2:- Poll: Are you glad you were banded?
I'm one month out from lap band surgery and thankful I had it. I've lost 50 pounds and have 45 more to go to reach my goal weight. It is not a miracle pill, it is a lifestyle change. I have never had a problem loosing weight, only problem, keeping it off. I had female problems, high blood pressure, heel spurs and back pain. With just the first 50 pounds gone, I have none of the above problems. It is not an easy way out. It has saved my life. So I am a proud lap band owner, and look forward to my new life with fitness, exercise, and incorporation of good eating.- Soda
I've heard mixed things on this topic. As for my doctor, Iwas told none for a year. I've beencoping pretty good. I also think it has been a plus with my post op weight lost. Proceed with caution.- My fat apron is gone!

That's wonderful! Congratulations!

- Surgery Date Set
Congratulations on your band date!- Help w/ preop diet...
Hello Everyone, I'm not a health professional so I want to make it clear I'm only making a suggestion that helped my hunger pains during the liquid diet which I had for two weeks pre-op. I was referred a liver detox which helped to shrink the liver. Also, keep in mind the stomach is a muscle. it will shrink as the days nearer to surgery. Also the liver detox helped with my pre surgery weight loss and also after surgery gas pains were at a mininmum.- Food, I love you!
I'm one month post op and I don't think I could handle a steak! Take a bite for me! - Progress thus far...
