In the past, I have not been very photogenic. Learning now to face my fears and strike a pose! lol!
  3. Hello all, Here is where I have come from and this is where I am today. I have a little toning to do and only care to loose another 15 lbs. Before surgery Today
  4. May 16, 2007, one month before surgery 273lbs. Me 2010, down 90 lbs!
  5. bigbaby--yes, that is correct. I haven't had one. The weight was coming off nicely, so I didn't see the point of getting a fill. Well, when the weight slowed down, time for a fill, my doctor left the city. So I'm transferring to another doctor, which took 6 months just to get an appointment. It's today and I'm very excited!
  6. Shoot yes! I haven't had a fill. My first fill is March 4th! I'm really excited. Still can't believe almost 2 years and FIRST fill! lol!
  7. Thank you very much! I have an appointment March 4th for a fill.
  8. Someone on another thread is really hyping Dr. Woodman's patient client relationship to be very impressive. I have been placed on a waiting list for Dr. Weaver's office since July and had a scheduled appointment for October 22nd, only to get a call last week telling me to call back in January to reschedule, her new office wasn't ready for new patients. BTW I am a former patient of Dr. Tichansky; UT Medical Group, which closed in August of this year. I'm very disappointed. Just trying to get a fill.
  9. OMG! Thank you so much! I have had my bad for over a year with no fills, tried to get into UT to find out in July they were closing! I contact Dr. Weaver had an appointment for October 22nd. They called me only to say" we are moving, call us in January to reschedule! WTH?
  10. Hello Mellie and welcome. I understand what you mean by finding the time. I have been off for the last two weeks. I'm implementing a new program on Monday which just so happens to be the first day of the month. My problem it's time to weight lift and I don't quite knowhow to do that. I have weights at home since I don't have time to attend a gym. I also have that large ball to workout with as well. But Mellie how I got where I am is pushing through. If I had to get up earlier I do. I had a family forum and explained to everyone about mine and their lifestyle change and how it would affect the entore family. So feel that it is not childrens business but I strongly disagree. Some day they will have families of their own and can see now the sacrifice they had to make in order to help mother get to a healthy weight so that they will prevent it from happening to them, before it starts. Didn't mean to run with this thread, however, I do feel that it is important in this journey to include our spouse and children to be successful.
  11. I'm sorry but where is Detorit? Is "Beliteweight" a support group or group of doctors
  12. Thanks Stephanie! I can't wait until I have thighs like yours!:clap2:
  13. Thank you! Stephani, I lost 23lbs. before surgery. I've onlylost 44 lbs since surgery. I haven't had a fill yet. My doctor said that's normal, I just can't eat alot. I do step aerobics, jog 5 miles and learning to weight train next week. I don't eat 2-3hours prior to bed time and I drink my bidy weight in water. I do take Lipo6 as a thermogenic and EAS Phosphagen with creatine to build muscle.
  14. hello all! I was banded June 25, 2007. I have lost a total of 67 lbs. I can't wear half the clothing in my closet. But how do I release the fear of getting rid of them? I'm going to try this weekend to take them away, clean out my closet. I have this phobia of doing that. As if I expect to be able to wear them again. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?
  15. nkent this is great? Can you tell us what weight you came from and what your weight loss goals are?
