Already had the surgery, 3mons postop now. As some know, riding season is on us. Normally riding with the hubby is an afternoon ride and we stop for lunch and/or dinner to accommodate my eating schedule. Fluids are a non issue as I own several camelpaks to use on the rides. However, we have a group ride/vacation planned for August this year, and the big ride day is a 12+hr ride day in the North Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina Mountains, there is a stop for lunch planned, but Breakfast and dinner are on our own. I can scarf a boiled egg for breakfast, but what can I pack as non perishable Snacks that meet the dietary guidelines postop? Nuts I already tolerate well and eat on occasion as a boost if I feel tired while out running errands. So I thought about that as an idea. But I need veggies I would think. Can y'all help me?
