I just heard that I received approval for my revision surgery through Aetna. It will be covered 90% as well. Soo excited for another chance and to be rid of this awful reflux. Im hoping for surgery the beginning of June. This Xmas i hope to have a new me this year.

Thank you cute1. I am having a revision from the lapband to the bypass. I have had way to many issues with the band for the 13 years i have had it. My reflux is the worst part. I think i had an easier time getting approved because it is deemed necessary.

Relieved, excited, nervous and a little overwelmed with thinking all the things i gotta get lined up before surgery. Like getting someone to mow the lawn for a few weeks. Things like that. I have a friend at work that had his at least 6 years ago and he is doing great kept most the weight off. Its great to have inspiration and sites like this for support

Surgery scheduled June 2. Now i am nervous

I am having band revision to bypass in June 8!! Super excited!!

My date was pushed back to June 23...doc is going on vacation on the 4th and wants to be sure he is there in case of complications. I actually need more time to get ready so its all good.

I had a sleeve a year ago, had no weight loss. The sleeve was too large or stretched. I have gained about 40 pounds since my band was removed

Hello everyone, need to give an update. I didn't have surgery May 18th, was dehydrated and no one could get the IV. I had my resleeve yesterday. Everything is going well so far. I left the hospital today for the hotel that has a nurse and physician there if problems. So far I am happy and I think doing well
