  5. Just an update with me. It's been a year since my revision and im at goal at 170 although I still want to lose a few more. 135 pounds lost in a year. Revision surgery doesnt have to be any slower. It's up to you as to how successful you are. These are the best days of my life. Looking forward to skin surgery next year.
  6. Ugh pics arent working on my phone app..
  7. Surgery 6/23/2015. SW 305 CW 189
  8. I dont agree that physical addiction and mental addiction are all that different. If you cannot stop smoking there is a problem. Financially your also drained for life. I have seen my bfs roommate not sleep for days without it. He even admits it's cause of the weed. Do i think it's an awful drug? No I just hate when people act like it has no bad side effects. It does. I've seen people lose their job, house and family over that addiction. If i was sick and i needed an option i would definitely look into it. But only if i was sick.
  9. Marijuana is addictive...having lived with an addict it does effect you in many ways. It makes you dependent on it to fall asleep (at least it did for my ex)It effects your memory big time. Yes it has many good properties but thinking there are no negative side effects is wrong. I also wonder if it increases ulcers like cigerettes do? No idea.

  11. Yeah myfitnesspal never thinks I eat enough and gets mad at me lolll
  12. Loveeee myfitnesspal. I honestly dont think i would have been successful without it
  13. I dont know how i would have made my protein requirements without fairlife skim....loveeee it
  14. Im finding 700 to 900 is ideal...i can gain sometimes with 1k. My body is so weird ugh
  15. Well i also had 2 strictures along the way so i had 2 weeks that i could barely get anything down at all. Scale went down fast but then stalled of course when i started eating again. My real secret is not one that is really a secret. I just use myfitnesspal and track every morsal and i mean every bite. I dont go over 1k calories either or i wont lose. No rice, potatoes, bread or pasta. It is what most people that have been successful have followed. You can do this too!
  16. I was 305 before surgery. Now im 231 and its not even 4 months out. You are going to be so happy to get that band out and live a much better healthier life. I can eat chicken again!!
  17. It will probably change, just like most of us get our hunger back eventually (still mad about that). Im 4 months out and in so enjoying chicken. But its probably because i couldn't eat it for so many years with the band. Now i can eat it and I savor every bite.
  18. Im looking forward to hot flashes lol
  19. Also make sure you arent anemic. I am always freezing but feeling a bit warmer lately because my iron is up to 12...which it was 9.
