Just got back from vacation and can say its the best one I have ever had. We went to Williamsburg, VA and Washington D.C. I didn't have to worry about not keeping up when walking from place to place. Most the time I was the one least winded after hiking up the hill! I fit in all the rides at Busch Gardens (with room to spare). And Iost 1.5 lbs while on vacation and really didn't eat that great just didn't snack any and got my Water in. Got to say the sleeve is the best thing I have ever did for myself.

I just got back from vacation as well and it was definitely a great feeling to keep up with everyone and to be able to go on all the rides! I lost weight too, but I think that was mostly due to the stomach bug I had while I was there. Either way, I'll take it and hope it stays off as I get back into my normal routine at home.

Yay for a life full of many happy vacations ahead of us!

I'm about to go on vacation and you ladies are an inspiration, for me, this is my first vacation since surgery. Where we go, it's usually beer, burgers, and beaches, but I already know if I tried to have what I did before, it would now be impossible. It's been a long winter and I can't wait to get outdoors and see what this new body can do.

Just leaving from an awesome vacation! I'm 4 months post op and I didn't need the belt extender on the plane and I was able to go on every ride in the park comfortably!! Also made my "new me" debut on Facebook and loved the WOW

comments. Also loved walking 20k-25k steps per day without too much discomfort!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
