Awe thanks so much! I'm happy where I am now. Still toying with the idea of 140, but I'm def fine at 150. I never want to be 160 again! I'm a size 8 right now. That's insane! I've never been an 8!!!

I'm 5'5 and now 150!!!! My surgeon said you have to do what looks right for you. I def get "you're too skinny!" at this point. However, they are used to seeing me very big!!! I'm literally 1/2 the size I was.
  3. Ggggooooaaaallllll! Made it to 150[emoji1316]
  4. I'm now just over a year out. I also had this concern. However, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. It isn't about how much you can fit in your new tiny tummy, but how little can you eat and be satisfied. I strongly suggest you measure and follow your program. You won't regret it.

  11. Hi! I was sleeved 10/19/16. I have an appointment next week for follow up. I have been stalled and in a rut also. However, it's summer and I haven't been pushing myself as usual. I teach school and need the structure of the school year, but my goodness summer is amazing!!! I also can eat everything and I have to track closely! My goal is 150 and need to refocus and reach it!!! Here are my stats: Highest weight: 294 Surgery weight: 252 (10/19/15) Current weight: 165.2 February 27, 2016--199.8 onederland March 16, 2016--100.6 total lost May 17, 2016--174.8 mini goal reached Progress: October (252) - November (232): -20 November (232) - December (222): -10 December (222) - January (214): -8 January (214) - February (203): -11 February (203) - March (191): -12 March (191) - April (183): -8 April (183) - May (175): -8 May (175) - June (168): -7
  12. I work out 2-4 days a week. Usually the treadmill or elliptical with some strength/weights. I also try to attend one work out class a week. I'm 5'5. Best wishes. I'm so glad I did this!
  13. Side my side pictures are my new addiction. They keep me motivated when I don't see it for myself.
  14. I did lose some before surgery. Here is what I keep in my phone and you can see my rate. Another member shared her progress and laid it out like this and I loved it. Progress: October (252) - November (232): -20 November (232) - December (222): -10 December (222) - January (214): -8 January (214) - February (203): -11 February (203) - March (191): -12 March (191) - April (183): -8 April (183) - May (175): -8 I track from the 19-18 of each month since that was my surgery date. I have had stalls and it stresses me out. However, when you look at the month as a whole I've been pretty steady. Things are getting harder. I track and work out 2-4 times a week. I have had ZERO problems with the Sleeve. If anything, I wish I had a little more restriction. It is a huge mental game, but I'm going to win. I started at a 22-24. I now fit comfortable in 14 and am starting to buy 12's.

    Still feeling no restriction

My surgeon really wants all patients to keep their carbs low. He believes in a 2:1 ratio. So my protein is 90+ and carbs are below 50! If my carbs increase, I def don't lose. What are your carbs?

    Still feeling no restriction

I get 10,000 steps daily and workout 2-4 times a week. One of my workouts is a class "Core and More". The other times is treadmill with some strength training. I eat between 900-1,300 calories. I log my food religiously. I def watch my carbs. I've never had a problem getting my protein in

    Still feeling no restriction

I feel restriction, but it is with more food than I thought I would be able to eat. I follow the mantra, "it's not about how much you can stuff in there, but how little can you eat and feel satisfied?" The reality is I do feel satisfied by eating significantly less food. However, it may be more than some other Sleeve patients. Each person has their own journey and this is mine.
  22. I was Sleeved 10/19/16. My MD does the Sleeve in the hospital, but as outpatient. Patients can stay if needed, but almost all patients go home the same day.
