Woohoo! Congrats! I must admit I was at first wondering what all the fuss was about. Now that I've had mine for about 2 weeks (and blasted through a 9-week plateau), I am a believer and a LOVER of the BB!!! My sister even bought one (and she doesn't really have any weight to lose LOL)

Enjoy!!!!

Does this sound right? I burn more calories doing a Walk Away The Pounds video for an hour than I do on the ellptical at an average of 4.2 mph? The elliptical said I burned 600 something calories and my BB said I burned like 400 something calories. I guess I should believe my BB before I believe the elliptical?

The more weight bearing an activity is- typically the more calories we burn. So on the elliptical, there is no impact and the machine supports your weight-- you'll burn less (unless you turn the resistance up a lot). Walking, even in place or back and forth in your living room, is more weight bearing. I know that my BB says I burn a lot more doing something like kickboxing or step than if I indoor cycle.

And the machine calorie counters are notoriously way off!

It's nice to have because you don't have to plug in your BB to see how much you've burned during the day. I find it to be a great motivator. It will tell you how many calories you are burning per minute so it motivates me to bump up the intensity because I like to watch ALL the numbers jump up. Now that I have it I would be lost without it. You also don't have to wear it as a watch. It comes w/ a clip that you can use to attach it to your clothes, maybe even on your bra/sports bra where no one can see it. It's not bad looking but it's also not the most stylish looking thing, either. I do wear mine as a watch, though. Doesn't matter to me either way.

I would be glad to help you. The booklet that comes with the Bugg is pretty clear. It takes a little while to set up and then it takes 3 hours to charge the Bugg before it can be used. The important thing: On the medical sheet that you complete, DO NOT tell them you have had lap band/bariatric surgery. I had to laugh because it tells me that I need to consume 2100 calories a day, that ain't happening.

I still use Internet Explorer (much to my husband's chagrin) and I didn't have any problems. The tech support at BodyBugg is great-- you might give them a call. I don't remember what coast they're on, but they might still be there...

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
