6 week roll call! Sleeved 1/20/15

Recommended Posts

Tomorrow is 6 weeks for me! I am 32 lbs down and it feels fabulous! My weight loss has slowed/plateaued for almost 2 weeks. Beginning to walk on the treadmill at night. My goal is 30 minutes x4 a week. I can tolerate any food!! Are any of you stalling? How did you overcome? How are you dealing at 6 weeks!

I am and it's driving me nuts. I stalled at week three and then week five I dropped ten. Now I'm on week seven and I feel like I'm stalling again. I'm losing a pound here or there. Maybe my expectations are off! I know I don't want to lose it too fast. All together from pre surgery to after surgery I've lost 35 which is amazing...I know!

I can tolerate any food also, but I'm doing really good to not introduce bad stuff back into my new stomach and life!

I'm getting in 4 miles of walking at least three times a week. I want to get a trainer again and join a gym, so more to come!

Hello everyone ! My name is Quiona and I am 24 years old. My sleeves birthday is January 29th. Just the other day we celebrated 1month ... I am beyond happy with my procedure. I am down over 40lbs and the changes to my body are drastic. As far as food I've been able to tolerate whatever I decide to eat. I don't do carbs, sugars or fat(by choice) . I eat crackers though. I go to the gym twice a day for a total of 4 hours and every morning before I head to the gym I walk my dog for 3miles. I think the surgery has been one of the best decisions I've made in my life! I'm posting two pictures for some motivation for others . Good luck on your journey !post-249050-14255272322486_thumb.jpg post-249050-14255272585816_thumb.jpg

Am I doing something wrong. I find it hard to believe that 800 calories is enough to sustain my weight. My clothes fit well but I am dying to get to my 150 goal. Any advice?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
