Well.....I went to the information seminar today......A lot of information received and also a lot to process....There were only 3 people there and 2 supports were there....I took my daughter as support and her piece of mind.....I did schedule my first appointment for tomorrow February 3 at 1 PM....Who has 2 thumbs and is so excited....this girl here.....

Congratulations on making the first step towards a happier healthier life! I started my process in August 2014 and am currently mid process. Hoping to have surgery sometime this summer 2015. Every insurance or self pay process is different, but it has taught me to have patience and keep the faith. Good luck on your journey.

I know the excitement of which you speak! Mine started at my first information session and it's only been increasing! Now about 2 months out from surgery and it's been the excitement that's been pushing me to make changes and plans.

Congrats on taking the first step in your journey to a healthier life! I started my journey in Sept 2014 and my surgery is scheduled for exactly four weeks from today, March 9 at 7:30am (I am the first case of the day ! ). My pre op diet starts on the 23rd. I am glad that this had been a gradual process because it is a huge decision and one where if you. choose not to be compliant, you will end up gaining the weight back! I right there with you! I just made my first payment and had my consultation today!

I know they'll be bumps in the road, but he wants to get my in the OR before Halloween! So, if I can lose the preop weight he wants (35-40lbs) and the insurance approves me fast, I could have my surgery before the end of the year! My goal is it have the operation done before my 30th b-day in January.

There were a lot of things I wanted to do for my 30th (its a big one) and I had to choose, so this will be my bday gift to myself. XD
