Over fill?

Had my 2nd fill on Thursday, since thenI have had a hard time eating , keeping food down and being in horrible pain. Is there too much in my band.

Sounds like you are where I am right now too. I'm trying to tough it out until Tuesday, but Gatorade G2 is my best friend right now. The first week was fine, had to change to new BP med, the pill is huge. Easy to get stuck. Now my band is feeling tight , painful, and having trouble eating more than one bite, or getting enough liquids. Arghhhh!

Hi Donna1129,

We had the surgery in the same month. It sounds like it might be too tight. Did you feel any restriction with your first fill?

I'm kinda of opposite from you. I have only had 1 fill and I still do not feel any restriction ~ I guess we are both looking for that happy medium. You have had a great weight loss, I'm only at 20lbs. and trying to eat less its just a little hard right now without any restriction.

If you don't feel better soon, I would go back and see your doctor. Do you know how much is in your band?

Hope you feel better soon:)

Donna it sounds like you are too tight. I got a fill on Monday and had to go back in on tues because I was having trouble eating and drinking and reflux at night.. Call your doc and see what they think. Best wishes!
