@Puppypaws57 Well, thank you! ;) You can jump in...the water's fine!

Anyone else not hungry today? Wow! What a cool thing to be able to post! I think it's because I'm so frustrated though. I moved to TN in May from GA. In GA, I weighed in and met with a nurse practitioner on a monthly basis. It just worked for me, so I kept doing it until I moved. Well, I can't seem to make it happen since our move and have been diligently trying to find a bariatric center that will work with me. I've been told "no" by two, only one left in a 50 mile radius. Fingers crossed!

I've had a Protein shake - 46 grams of Protein, 18 carbs, 4 sugars, 11 fibers. I will eat my dinner and exercise!

How are you guys doing???

Got in my hour of cardio...... Just finished a lunch of cottage cheese and peaches......Tastes like dessert to me. Tonight's dinner will be chicken salad on a bed of lettuce. Trying to get in more Water..... Will try to drink three glasses while working this afternoon, instead of one Water and two coffees....... Still haven't gotten on scale, so yeah. Elderly mother and mother-in-law seem to be a little better today, so yeah for that!!!!!

Three trips down and up the stairs at work so far, and two to go before I leave. I didn't leave the building at lunch. Too cold. Brought hummus for lunch and had that. I'll fill my water bottle next and switch from Decaf to Water.

@HealthyNewMe Glad to hear that about your mother & MIL. I'm also glad to hear you're staying off that scale. Me too!

@JustWatchMe How did you do on the stairs? Get them all in today?

As for me...exercise...check! I did a Leslie Sansone 3 mile walk video. I've had all my Water and all my food today. VICTORY!

Shout out to all of you that are making it happen too. Let me hear from you!!!

Not too bad. Got the stairs in, got my Water in. Had 1520 calories instead of 1200 but it's okay. Off to an OA meeting now and then a bubble bath. Freezing my skinny ass off here in Chicago. Loving this thread.

Today was not what we had planned due to ice and snow. I exercised by shoveling 45 min. The ice was over 1/2 inch thick under the snow so I had to whack it with the shovel and break into chunks like peanut brittle. Good fresh air and work out. Grandson age 2 was here a couple of hours and we built train tracks and ran trains. :D Quinoa, 1/2 C for Breakfast with black coffee. Green tea mid morning. lunch about 2 oz steak and refried Beans with salsa. Ice Water afternoon. dinner... cheesy potato Soup 3/4 C and 2 baby cooked carrots. Thinking about a cup of hot tea again and maybe an apple slice or 2. We have the walks and driveway in good shape so tomorrow should be gym day! I miss it! :)

I had a phone call from DR. office in regard to blood work. Stored Iron level still a bit low. I am going to bump up the red meat as instructed and Gummy minerals. Any other suggestions?

@punkinvine Lucky duck getting some snow! I was hoping that our move northeast 500+ miles might mean we'd see snow, but not yet. Not sure about the Iron, other than supplements. Sounds like you've got a plan!

@newmetwenty15 Those of us posting are veteran lap banders. We've had our bands long enough to know what and how to do it, just holding each other accountable, sharing ideas, etc. There's a whole group of folks with the sleeve, which I think you have or are having per your stats, and you might those boards more helpful. The forum is here: http://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/3-gastric-sleeve-surgery-forum/

However, if I'm mistaken, jump in!! I don't want to come across like I'm turning you away or anything like that; it's certainly not my intention. I just want you to find the place that will benefit you the most! ;)

Freezing my skinny ass off here in Chicago.

Isn't this AWESOME?!?! Being able to use SKINNY to refer to yourself is such a WIN!! I'll be glad when I'm there. I want to get about 20 more off, I think. That number may or may not be accurate, but the pants are hanging in my closet and I'm at goal when I can comfortably wear them. :P

But after reading some of the temperatures posted (much colder than mine) I need to suck it up and go. Or at least find something at home to do. I will move in some way tomorrow!! Ill post and let ya know what I did!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
