Snacks ideas.

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any snack idea and meal idea. I'm trying to get ahead and get some meal idea ready for normal foods. I'm 2 weeks post op from gastric bypass. I'm on soft foods now I don't know how long that is to last but I wanted to get a head start and get a menu ready.. Thanks in advance. ☺????

One of my favorite new Snacks is edamame! Very high in Protein and it isn't meat, dairy or something sweet like a Protein Bar. Once I was cleared to eat regular foods, I also make them roasted with different seasonings. A wonderful nutty crunchy snack!

I love the individual portions of humus and celery or sweet bell peppers or sliced cucumbers. The 4 oz cottage cheese is also a great snack with 12 g of protein.

Make sure your program allows for Snacks. Mine does not. I'm on a 3 meals a day plan. It's critical you follow the plan given to you by your practice/nutritionist. You will find lots of different things on here.
