Lying about what type of surgery..

Recommended Posts

GingerDiane, I had an endoscopy. Not a big deal. No after effects from the anesthesia or the procedure.

I wouldn't use the gallbladder excuse...that's same day surgery and you can typically go back to light duty in 3 days. Plus I always feel karma will get you for lying and you'll need it out at a later date. I would just tell them you're having surgery and if they ask what kind I would say I'd rather not talk about it

I'm the 26th as well. . As far as the other think or say... my thinking is fuck em' . Sorry, if that language offends, but it's not thier business. Not everyone is the same, and not everyone can do it without the surgery. Me included. I know I need the surgery, and can't do it without the help. :)

The pics do that sometimes. Freaks everyone out at first. You are the only one that sees it that way.

The only thing that matters is that this is going to help you feel better and look better. People are judging you now and they'll judge you later. "Judgey people gonna judge!"

Personally, I would take 2 weeks off and then if you need more, get a note from your doctor and do it.

If you feel like you need to say something, just frown and say, "Lady problems. Trust me, you don't want to know."

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
