So, I'm one week into my pre-op liquid diet, and I found myslef pretty emotional when the family was having dinner. Emotional and jealous if I'm being honest. Is this normal or am I just being a baby? I'm not sure how I'm going to get through next week. I know I only have 9 days, but it seems like it's a month away.

Anyone from PA, had their surgery at Enstien with Dr. Trang?

I looked at the Premiere Protein at Costco last night, but it's whey concentrate. My NUT wants me to stick to whey isolate.

I'm the 26th as well. . As far as the other think or say... my thinking is fuck em' . Sorry, if that language offends, but it's not thier business. Not everyone is the same, and not everyone can do it without the surgery. Me included. I know I need the surgery, and can't do it without the help.

I have 8 sample packs of the Nectar brand. I didn't like the the 2 I tried, and if anyone wants them I paid $26 for 10. I tried 2 , and leaves 8 I'd sell for $10 bucks and ship for free. Cheers, Carrie.

I started ordering samples of protein shakes, since my surgery is January 26th. So far I like the chocolate from UNJURY. I'm not a huge fan of any of the flavors from nectar.

Today was discouraging. I started running, and have been steady running everyday for the last month. I haven't been on the scale since the last time I was in the physicians office, and was going to wait until I went in on the 13th. I broke down and stepped on the scale, and I haven't lost a pound. Not one. before I started I couldn't run down the block, but now I'm up to at least 2 miles a run... and I've lost nothing.

Thanks ya'll. I'm super excited for what the future holds, and wait to start life after sleeve.

I'm 20 days from surgery day, and starting to get very nervous. I stumbled on this website looking for tips, and help in what to expect after surgery. Life after surgery is what i'm scared of. Learning how to live again scares me. I've had almost 40 years of not making the right choices, how do i learn to make the right one? Cheers, Carrie
