Christmas and New Years Dinner - PUREE ANYONE?

Hi everyone,

Being a newbie i was hoping if anyone can suggest some yummy puree recipes for Christmas and New Years.

Currently I am 2nd week into post op and on puree foods. It would be great to know what others did to keep themselves on track during

this festive season.

Sleeved on 12/17 and wondering what I can fit into my week 2 that just happens to fall on Christmas, besides sugar-free chocolate pudding, that is, lol! And btw, I'm pretty much sick to death of sf Popsicles and jello, blech! Rant over! For now.

Ask Santa for a Vita Mixer. It's very pricey, but it will pay for itself in no time, especially now!! I hardly used it, but I use it all the time now, and will use it a ton once I'm sleeved.

I was on liquids postop all through Christmas and New Years last year. Made festive flavored protein shakes....vanilla pumpkin pie spice, cake batter gingerbread, vanilla eggnog, etc. Also had "rich" indulgent cream soups like lobster bisque and butternut squash with added unflavored protein powder.

Oh I love this recipe! Taste just like lasagna with out the noodles!! I'm making myself a papaya stuffed with crab. Put crabmeat, 1/2 mango, coconut Water, and a SMALL dash of balsamic vinegar(think sweet and sour) in blender and puree.I like spicy so I put a squeeze of srarachia sauce too Take the mixture and place in small ripe papaya that had been cut in half with the seeds removed .Or take a half of avocado remove pit take shrimp and in ketchup, horseradish sauce 1/2 envelope of stevia some lemon juice place in blender and puree and fill the avocado.
