I was given a little pouch of Pocket Protein by my Nutritionist the other day. It's only 15 mg of Protein. I tried it straight out of the pack and it was ok. Kind of tasted like liquid Jell-o to me. It was too sweet for me though, so I put it in my Water like I would my crystal light and it was much better. it has to be super cold though.

Has anyone else tried Pocket Protein? If so, How did you like it?

I looked it up when I saw your question. It looks expensive to me. Check into GENEPRO.....30 grams of Protein in a tablespoon. It is oderless and tasteless. I also mix it in my Crystal Light Lemonade (don't like sweet drinks). You can mix it with hot or cold..... they send you little packets so you can carry it with you.

I never heard of this so I googled. It appears to be a new brand on the market. Apparently there is a mens version that has 20gms of protein. However the consistency sounds similar to the Prosource no carb. The Prosource worked best for me when I thinned it out or got the unflavored and added it to Soups.

Thanks for sharing. I am going to try GENEPRO. I've been using powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury but I can still taste it and it's not as much Protein and seems to be more expensive. Love Amazon Prime as it should be here in 2 days.

I am totally not a scientific type person, so can someone use small words to explain to me how GENEPRO works? How is it possible to get 30 grams of Protein from a tablespoon, when a tablespoon only contains 15 grams?

@@Rocky1 what Proteins are you using?

Well since I just ordered the product I hope the following explanation is correct...lol Often times the difference is volume vs weight example in medications you can have 3 grams of medication dissolved in 15 ml of Fluid or contained in a small pill. Also remember that things weigh different so weight will not always be consistent with volume. A pound of feathers vs a pound of mercury same as a table spoon of sugar vs a tablespoon of gold. I might be completely wrong but that's what I am wishing is correct.

I am currently on my fifth bag of GENEPRO. I had my bloodwork in October and I am right on target. After my surgery I got where I could not drink any other Protein drinks. They were just too chalky and I would gag on them. I tried several kinds.....ISOPURE left a terrible metal taste in my mouth..... whey shots were just horrible....could not stand Premier....etc. This is been the best for me! It might not be for everyone, but it is for me. I make a big tumbler (Bubba Jug) every morning with Crystal Light and keep it on my desk and sip on it. After lunch I usually make another big tumbler full. I get my Protein in and my Water at the same time. If I put it in my coffee....I mix it with the creamer....zap it in the microwave and then add the coffee....it mixes better and I like my coffee hot. I have mixed it in yogart, pudding, sprinkled on food.....etc.

I didn't know how much it was. I'm guessing my NUT doesn't know either since she got it for free. But everybody had great thing to say about GENEPRO so maybe I'll try that one. She recommended Unjury but I've not heard good things about the taste.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
