  2. @@JamieLogical I had full blood work.. The only think not normal was my B12 was elevated and cholesterol was high... If It hasn't majorally checked up I am going to ask my Bariatric doc to order the blood work. When it was done this last time it was my general doc (little worried they did not request something)
  3. I am six months out and I started with extremely thick hair. I have lost over 50% It has been falling out for about two months. It has went from two handfuls a day to one hand full every three days. I take vitamins, biotin and use biotin shampoo. I have resorted to Joan Rivers scalp makeup (red) it is amazing and easy to use. I am kinda freaking out but doc says to call him back if it hasn't stopped by Feb 8.

  5. I had constant heartburn and reflux prior to surgery even with the medications. After surgery - no meds and no heartburn. One exception - I ate two bites off a all beef Hebrew National Hot dog - needless to say that is the one and last hotdog... I had sleeve and I have no more heart burn

  9. Don't think I am a veteran but it have about 5 and a half months experience. I will answer any questions that I can.... You can add me as a friend if you wish.
  10. Congrats..... welcome to the Journey......hope you continue in your success!!!
  11. At the mushy/pureed food stage you can count it where ever you want. Just remember to get your protein and ounces of water in every day..... I would figure a cheese stick string cheese would be an entire meal if you could get the entire thing ate. As for the pudding put some protein powder in it..... 4oz...sugar free....fat free ... protein......full meal..... bingo!!!!!

  13. I am a couple weeks further along than you. I eat pretty much what I want (as low fat as possible) Two weeks ago I was in a terrible stall. It was my third one but this lasted over a week. I eat what I want. I had to add a protein powder back into my diet. I got sick on a grilled piece of chicken and just can't seem to eat solid meats tonight I had about 1/2 of a tamale with 2 tlb spoon beanless chilli and 1 tlb spoon fat free sour cream. Lunch was 1 baked salmon patty with ketchup, breakfast a 80 calorie light and fit yogurt with 1 tlb spoon genepro protein powder.
  14. Little over 5 months...mine depends on what I am eating...thin (soup not heavy with stuff) about 1/2 cup. Thicker or chunkyier closer to 1/4 cup. Solid (meat) about two ounces. As for ever eating normally... I hope I never do it again, cause my normal let me become 258+ pds. I go out and order usually off the appetizer menu.... Eat what I want slowly and talk a lot...then get a go box and your left overs will be about three meals and some to throw away. My biggest issue is throwing away food.... I learned it is ok to throw away food, I don't have to clean my plate thinking about some starving people. I Love my sleeve and the only regret is I did not have it done 10 years ago.
  15. I figured my tummy would be the problem, but my arms (wings) and my face are bearing the brunt of the damage. I figure a face lift will be my required surgery... I am looking tired, old and sad but on the inside I feel so young and full of energy.
  16. You will not poop everyday or even every other day for a while.... total change in your bowel habits
  17. I want my thighs to not touch I want a pair of boots to go over my calves without having to buy wide calves that are too big in the ankle. I want to wear sleeveless shirts without feeling sick by my flabby arms I want to sit on antique furniture without the panic of its going to crush I want to wear a 1950s style dress (polka dots) I want to wear a single digit size one time in my adult life. I want to weigh what an average women weighs (not the average man)

  20. @@MichiganChic Was the surgery painful? how about scars? what kind of cost was incurred? Did they do it in combo with any other surgery. I am 49 and I alway thought my stomach was going to be the most icky of the skin... Turns out my arms/armpits and my face seem to have taken the most damage.
