  8. I never stopped getting hungry. But it hasn’t been a problem for me because I feel full very quickly. Just make sure you’re eating the right things and weighing/portioning your food and you’ll be fine. I WAS disappointed though, that I never totally lost my appetite, I have to admit. No hunger seems like a great tool.

  12. I have the same problem. For me, it’s definitely fluids. I have to drink well over the recommended amount each day to keep my bp from dropping when I stand after sitting or bending. I’ve also noticed that it’s not always how much I’ve had to drink as it is when I drink... so, for example, I have dizziness more frequently in the morning before I get significant fluids in after “fasting” all night. Same thing if I go for a few hours mid-day without drinking. Once I figured out the correlation between my dizzy spells and my fluid intake, I was able to manage it.
  13. Me!! I take Lactaid to help control it, but about once a week it still gets me. PP is still my favorite, though, and easy to buy in bulk.
  14. At 5 months, I am at 30%
  15. Thanks, you too! 21 pounds is amazing! That gym thing is not as impressive as it sounds. He cleared me for cardio only and the first time I went back to the gym, I nearly passed out after 20 minutes on the stationary bike. Haha. So, I'm going, but I'm just walking, biking really slowly, etc. it's incredibly unimpressive!
  16. Hi! I think I'm at about 17 lbs down, but I'm not completely sure because my surgeon has scolded me not to check my weight until my 6 week follow up. I did sneak a peek at the gym a few days ago, though. Haha - it's impossible not to! How about you?

  18. Atlanta Bariatrics. They are amazing! Hope you're happy with your team.
  19. Hope it all went well today. It gets so much easier every single day!
  20. Congrats on making the big commitment. I'm probably not a great mentor as I'm only a few days post-op, but I do want to tell you that it was all smooth-sailing for me and you will do great! Good luck on your journey!!
  21. I was sleeved on the same day! Hello sleeve twin! I have found the same thing - it's sooo much easier to drink my protein shakes if I walk around while I do it. Good luck!
  22. Hello! I'm a new member, GS scheduled for late May. My biggest fear in getting this procedure is that I won't be able to conquer my addiction and I know I need some psychological support. Unfortunately, I live 2-hours from the closest metropolitan area where good therapists specializing in bariatric support might be available. I was wondering if anyone here had tried online counseling and if there were any recommendations for great counselors?
