Need to find a dr. for my first fill

My sister got banded in Monterrey, Mexico 8 weeks ago with Dr. Zapata. She lives in the Houston area and is looking for a doctor for her fills. Any suggestions would be helpful?

Thanks,

Julie:help:

Julie,

This can be a problem for patients as it can be hard in certain areas of the country to find aftercare. The surgeon that banded her should have some US contacts to refer her to.

This may be a good place to remind people considering surgery in Mexico.....please be sure that there is a doctor in your area that will fill patients who had Mexico surgery. And do it BEFORE you commit to the surgery!! Many people have gotten themselves in an unfortunate situation by not making these arrangements.

I agree totally...we see this all to often where patients have been banded for a year or more with no fills.
