TV Show - I Lost It

Recommended Posts

I found a new show on Discovery Health Channel called I Lost It! It comes on pretty early in the morning so i TIVO it but its really good. I havent seen any involving the lap band yet but it is about people who lost a lot of weight different ways and they talk about their feelings being fat and the transition. I do see some for gastric bypass, hopefully they have some lap bad!

I too am a fan of that show. I watch it every morning Mon-Fri before I leave for work. I like watching and seeing how people lose their weight. Some major transformations that goes on plus I learn that poeple have alot of the same problems I do. EX: self images that is a biggie for me.

I have seen every episode of that show! I started to tivo it once I found out it was on at 4:30 a.m. here, and would watch it while I was getting ready for work. I was watching one day, and saw the nutrition counselor from my gym on there--back when she was a weight watcher's leader! Most of those episodes were filmed here in Colorado. I told her about seeing her, and she asked me to tape it for her if it cam on again, so I did, and I took it to her. She had forgotten all about them filming that, and had never seen it. I finally quit recording it once I realized I had seen all the episodes. I don't recall seeing anyone who had lap band, though.

I love that show and TIVO it everyday too. It has been on for awhile now, it used to be on later in the morning than it is now. If you look, the episodes were all taped a few years back and because I haven't seen any new ones in ages, I am assuming they stopped filming new episodes. Maybe that's why the Lap Band hasn't been on there, because it's a little newer of a procedure. I wish they would film some new episodes though. I really enjoy it and it is very inspiring and motivational.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
