Lucky # Sevens- July 07 Bandsters

I just found out my surgery will be in July (granted my pre-op testing goes okay) SOOOOOOOOO

Here's a thread for everyone getting banded in July 07!

Does anyone have any good ideas for a neat name we could call ourselves?

Now that I've figured out how to add pictures...here are some of some Musk Ox my husband found grazing along the road about 3 miles from town. One of them has Nome in the background with the Bering Sea just beyond the city. The last one is of my Stormy with our baby chicks...she's soooo cute!

I've figured out how NOT to think of food! SLEEP! Yep, I made a deal with my son this morning that he would help feed his sister (she really feeds herself, but I didn't want to deal with cereal today) and I'd get him a Lunchable for tomorrow. Worked out GREAT! Granted I was totally lazy! The kids ended up in bed with me and we had an hour-long tickle-fight. It's going better today!

Hi all, I'm having my surgery on July 24. I have been doing lap band research for 2 years now and just last week decided to go for it. So I booked my surgery to have in a month. I have to lose 31 pounds by then and have so far lost 6. I'm excited, nervous, scared, and actually relieved, at the same time. Sounds weird but that's what I'm feeling! :bounce:

This is the last one...really, I'll quit now! :)

Please note that BOTH of these King Salmon are mine...an uncle was helping me pose with them...he would've liked to take them home, but I was feeling selfish that day!:heh:

I'm just giving Dini something to look at when she returns to us. I hope all is well with her....

I had a thought last night that by the middle of July we'll all be on some diet (pre or post)...now if that doesn't join a bunch of folks together, I just don't know what will!

Hey you guys! I just got back down the road from my 1st nutrition appt. It was fun. We got goodie bags w/samples of different products, brochures (ex. Lauren's Hope), etc. It was a good class. It was 2 hours long, but pretty painless. It was so funny b/c I knew everything we talked about, thanks to this site! To be honest, I felt like I could've taught the class! LOL. I love LBT! I know this site is one of the main reasons I feel so confident about my surgery.

How silly of me to forget myself on the calendar?!?! Yep. It was all Lynette's fault.

Welcome to our newcomers Caolin, Dover, and Cincyn. We are so glad to have you!

Marcyinak, we love your pics. Yes, the kiddies are cute!

Laurend, how are you doing on your pre-op?

All, how's it going? Any questions or concerns out there?

Hey Chimboree, please add me to the calendar too when you get to it. Thanks! Surgery scheduled 7/12/07.

Okay Lynette617 I got the tickler to post finally, but I am now having trouble with the glittermaker. I can not get it to copy and post. All that posts is the url stuff and not names or anything. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hey Chimboree, please add me to the calendar too when you get to it. Thanks! Surgery scheduled 7/12/07.

Dieka, you're on there, just next to PattiC. I don't have enough room to give you your own line...sorry. I didn't forget you!

Cincyn, welcome. I'm going to take a wild guess that you're Cincinnati, OHIO.:omg: If so, who's doing your surgery? I'm in N KY, but grew up and lived in Cincy for 28 years. Glad you're here.

Marcy, great pics. What a great family you have.:clap2: That's my motivation too. Love the fishing pic. My family and I just went fishing two weekends ago. I caught the biggest fish (shovelhead) that night. I figured it weighed about 20 lbs cause it was so heavy. Then it weighed in at 8 lbs.:speechles I was so suprised because it was a good 2 1/2 foot long or better.

Chimboree, glad your class went well. The samples will be a great help. Let me know if you have any unflavored protein powder in the samples and if it's any good. I have some, but I haven't had any replies yet as to if it's any good or not. BTW, I'm glad you blamed the calendar thing on me.

I'd of felt left out it you hadn't!!!

Dini, where are you. Been thinking of you all day girl. Hope all is well and you're resting a lot. I'm figuring it's 1:30 AM there, and hopefully you're sleeping soundly. Let us know how you are when you're up to it. We're all just so excited for you. This is kind of like having a great thing happen to your best friend. You figure if it can't be you (yet) you're just so happy that it's happening to someone else you know. Thoughts and prayers are with you!!!!

nulife2be, that is what will show up in the signature area. At the bottom hit save, and it will preview your name, and then you will see the letters and colors come up. You should anyway, try it once and see.

Dini, we're certainly thinking of you and praying for you. Hope all is well. We look forward to talking to you soon!

Hi all! I've been reading this forum for a while, but I didn't try to join until I got my surgery date. Oddly, the day after I scheduled my surgery, I tried to register on this forum on five different computers, and it wouldn't work on any of them. I guess it was the site. It's working now, though, and I would like to be added to the list of lucky July '07 bandsters. I'm very excited. I'm self-pay, going to Mexico on the 10th for pre-ops and having surgery on the 11th.
