I know about GV Jeans... been wearing them for a couple years, trouble is they are hard to find, in 3 trips to GW I have found 3 pairs 12, 14 and an 18. Bought them all... but right now I need 16's! Guess I will head back to GW on my lunch hour!

btw, what is a slinkie?

OKAY....please don't laugh or roll your eyes at me, BUT...

I am a big big Britney Spears fan. I'm 26 and have been a fan since I was about 11. So, in 2009 when she was on tour, they had tracksuits for sale at her shows, and my brother (who is my concert partner) bought me one. It was 200 freakin dollars, and i have NEVER worn it because the biggest size they had was X-Large so obviously it wasn't going to fit a 300+ person. I STILL have that tracksuit and I cannot wait until the day I will be able to wear it. The great thing is that we're only 4 days into the new year, so i KNOW that the day that tracksuit will fit me, is going to be THIS year!

OMG Crystal88,

"WE" would never laugh at you! Those living in glass houses should not throw stones!!!! I am CERTAIN many, many of us have our own 'track suits' hidden in our closets! Mine is a beautiful Chinese Silk Jacket, that belonged to my Grandmother that has hung in my closet for over 40 years!

One day I went into Sephora with a friend. And they were playing Britney Spears. I knew all the words to the song. ALL. THE. WORDS. So there is no shame in my game.

Also, I saw N'Sync in concert at Soldier Field. I went with a friend, not as an escort for a 12 year old.

Phew, thanks ladies!!

There are people who give me a hard time because I'm still a fan, but I let it roll down my back at this point.

I can't wait until I can fit into that tracksuit!!

Fabletics just sent me an email that says if I don't place an order or push a button they are going to charge me $49.95 as a membership fee!!! I specifially do not remember signing up for this!!!! very sneaky if you ask me! Just turned me off of them... How many outfits do they think you need? I have not even recieved the first one yet!

Fabletics_GracePeriod_3Days.jpgPlease either make a purchase or Skip the Month by 1/08/15 to avoid a membership charge.
If you don't take action, you'll be charged $49.95 for a member credit on 01/09/15.
You can apply this member credit to a future Fabletics order

All those FAB sites are like that. I wanted some super cute boots from Just Fab and it was the same situation so I didn't do it. It was like Columbia house records but for clothes. Sure you get your first taste at a low low price, but then you have to pay up the wazoo later to make up for it.

Just Fab doesn't have an actual membership fee. It's frustrating if you forget to shop the mint but they usually send an email reminder. At least if you don't skip you can still use your money for shoes and not just lose it to them with nothing in return.

Yes, you do have to skip if you are not going to buy. But you can buy at any time after that. So just remember to log on and skip the month. In fact, I skip every month. But then sometimes I buy later anyhow.

Does anyone have this problem with jeans? I have lost a lot of inches off my butt and thighs, but My waist is still larger than my hips. (apple shape) Most women's jeans have a smaller waist. So I am finding jeans that fit my waist are huge and baggy over my rear and thighs.

Any suggestions for a brand that fits?

I have the same problem. Unfortunately the women in my family are plagued with bigger bellies then butts. No matter their size. My tiny mom suggested men's jeans. Works for her but no way I was gonna do that. Well for Christmas she bought a pair of 32 x 30 for my very skinny tall 16 year old son. Way to big and way to short for him. I said wth and slipped them on and guess what? My mother wAs right about the butt fit for us! And they don't slide off. They are just plain jeans but fit!!

I don't have a picture right now but more than anything I want to get some black, knee-high boots! My calves were always so fat I could never find ones that fit (even plus-sized ones) so I can't wait to lose enough and slim down my calves enough to wear sassy black boots again!

Im pretty petite (5'5) to my husbands 6'7 frame. I would love to have my curves back, but in a more healthy way: would love to have a knock out dress that will leave my husbands jaw on the floor lol. Plus red color family is my favorite!! Lil black dress extra sexified

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
