For any guy out there that ever wondered what us girls were complaining about when we said we were having cramps due to our cycle. Now you know, for me it felt just like when they removed the drainage tubing. Awful!

No drain tube here thank goodness! I also loved the inflatable leg wraps, they were like a two day massage and I lamented when the nurse finally took them off. Hehe. I didn't have the stockings thank goodness I guess lol. I did have the spirometer, but it hurt to inhale those deep breaths for at least two full days post surgery! Also no catheter, my surgeon doesn't allow them. If you have to go, you have to walk.

I had the legs wraps for my hysterectomy years ago. They did feel nice. It was like having a continuous massage. I was glad to have to spirometer in the hospital. Those first few days I could feel a bit of congestion in my chest and doing deep breathing helped relieve it.
