I am glad they are doing tests. This surgery sometimes has side effects but gallbladders are not essential. Hope they figure it out. How are you doing otherwise?

Please let us know what they say.

I have a little bread here and there. Just a tiny bite, I call it a crumb and as long as it doesn't become a meal I'm okay with it. I also have a bagel chip crumb here and there. It's amazing how just having that tiny bit makes me feel less deprived but I am very careful because I am not losing sight of my goal and diet - NO WAY

To whoever it was WHO SAID: IF YOU HAVE "POUCH PAIN" lie on your left side.... you saved me last night. I woke up with horrible pain. Something must have become stuck. Within minutes of lying on my left side - which points the opening of the pouch downhill!!! - I was without pain and able to go back to sleep. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. :)

I don't do so well with salad. It makes me so incredibly sad cuz I woukd eat a salad with chicken or turkey or tuna in it everyday. I didn't get "sick" when I ate it but my abdomen bloated up and I literally looked 9 months pregnant. But I'll try again just to verify it was the salad. Lol. I can eat bread alright though! It just needs to be toasted. I can only eat 1 piece, sometimes just half a piece.

Beni- I had my gallbladder out back in 2009. A year after I'd had the lapband. I did call and leave a message with the nurse. She called and left me a message saying it shouldn't be a concern. But of course I googled it and I don't know...seemed concerning. When my PA calls with lab results I'll mention it to her as well.

Bummer you didn't get to go today Beni!!

I mentioned it but Beni had told me about it. I think she said right side though? But heck, whichever side worked---I'd stick with that!

I did not have a good food day today. Didn't eat anything out of the ordinary. So I'm not sure what's up. But I had what I figure, is the hernia area pain this morning when I got up. Then every time I'd eat it felt like I had just drank a gallon of water. And that was after just a few bites.

B-- scrambled egg with salsa

S- cheese cubes, wheat crackers

L- 3 bites of a spinach wrap with turkey/cheese

D- taco salad with no lettuce

Nothing I haven't had before and hasn't made me sick before.

I don't know what's up but it's really annoying me.

I had a squished grilled cheese with homemade tomato soup. It went down with a hitch. Last night I barely could get down two crackers with tuna.

NSV- I got on a regional American Airlines aircraft and could buckle my seatbelt without an extender! I am also 5 pounds away from being under 300 pounds for good! I think I was the heaviest in our group at starting weight of 365. I could also paint myself into my size 22 jeans (non-stretch type). Small rewards to keep me going.

@@freelyme,

I was 377 on the day of surgery so you weren't the biggest. I just hit 299 a few days ago and cried like a baby. It feels great. I have lost almost 80 pounds though since surgery on 10/15/14. Good luck!!

Wednesday meal plan

B- premier Protein shake chocolate 11oz

S- planters peanuts about 15

L- 1oz costco chicken salad 3 Special K crisps

S- none

D- stouffers lasagne 1/3 cup more cheese sauce meat

S- dole dippers banana 4 slices

13w post rny gbs

I normally work from home and have a good routine down when it comes to eating and drinking my fluids. Just now I realized I'm drinking a latte and eating a muffin together without even thinking about it! Threw the muffin out, drinking water now and waiting for the repercussions. Old habits are hard to break!

Failed to mention I went into the office today.

In an epic long stall....working through it. Put on some workout clothes to power through T25 workout of the day. My daughter insisted on taking a pic. She's so sweet - she told me I was the inspiration in her life. Talk about tears ❤️ I'm silently dying with kidney stones - anyone else have that issue? I'm looking for some remedies. post-227578-14219600745566_thumb.jpg

Way to power through your stall!! You look AMAZING!! What a sweet daughter you have!!

How much Protein are you getting a day? I find if I increase mine, the scale moves again. Maybe your activity level is requiring more calories?

I struggle with protein - I get 60 a day at best. My doc feels that my activity level is too much for my calories and to up it. Well we all know what my answer is! It's maddening bc I feel ill bust if I add anymore to my days. I'm sure it'll get better. I'm just not there yet.

Hey everyone! I really need to keep up with the group more, I have just been so busy the last few weeks! I had my 3 month post op on Tuesday, and just like u amylynns, I don't get to see my surgeon either. I don't like my P.A. at all, she just smiles n nods at me at everything I say! Then she seriously argued with me over excedrin..tried telling me excedrin is Naproxen. I said nooo, and finally she looked it up and wouldn't ya know, I WAS RIGHT! I've taken excedrin for years, duh lady. But I found a new one with no aspirin in it so I was telling her about it. Ugh. Anyways, I am down a total of 68 lbs, it seems so unreal! everything seems to be fine so far, haven't heard back about my blood yet tho. I've been taking the 50,000 iu of vitamin d once a week, so that should be fine.

I had a meltdown the other morning lol, because I was getting dressed, and nothing fit me. Everything is big. Even my stretchy leggings. Still wearing them tho, cuz I have nothing else and I'm broke at the moment. very frustrating! Need to go thru more clothes and go trade in at the consignment shop again.

As for bread and salad, I am able to tolerate both pretty well, thank goodness. I don't eat bread alot, but I'll toast some for a blt or something like that. I've been having a protein shake every morning for the last few weeks because I need to boost my protein intake. It's funny cuz some food I feel like I can keep eating. But something like chicken wings, I have 2 and I'm done lol. My cousin fixed a plate for me tonight and FILLED it completely, I was like umm...I can eat maybe less than a quarter of that! Nobody gets it!

The PA also told me this week that if I'm having pouch pain to lay on my left side, so it must be true!
