  13. So excited to see everyone's success so far!! Great job you all are looking wonderful! I am a little jealous too (it's a good jealous)! As someone else mentioned earlier I wish that I had partaken of this surgery sooner so that I could be where some of you are, nearing the finish line! However, I started out much larger but have made some promising steps too from a size 30 jean to a size 20. I can wear a few things in 18/20. However, as much as things have changed I still have an entire mountain ahead of me to tackle I've lost 87 pounds but still have 123 to go! Oh well...I just won a battle but I'm still going to take this war! We are fighting for our health and happiness and NOTHING will stand in our way!!

  23. NSV- I got on a regional American Airlines aircraft and could buckle my seatbelt without an extender! I am also 5 pounds away from being under 300 pounds for good! I think I was the heaviest in our group at starting weight of 365. I could also paint myself into my size 22 jeans (non-stretch type). Small rewards to keep me going.
  24. That is usually sign of gallbladder / liver. Get it checked out and good luck!
  25. @@Bronxmerci Sorry you feel crappy. Yes, as for weird pains...my l ft leg was numb for 7 days after surgery and then has burned, tingled, zapped and pinged. Constantly annoying. I went to add two weeks ago and am starting physical therapy. I am 10 weeks out and down 60 pounds. I started at 365 so while most people are happy to get to onederland I will be extremely excited once I get below 300 and then on to the next less than 250 etc to goal of 140ish. I have a long way to go but constant pain sure makes it seem longer! Good luck!
  26. Wasn't supposed to be a like more of a dislike. I can relate, really well! I am so proud of everyone and their successes, but it started out at 365 so looking at everyone in the 200's on their way to one-derland and I haven't even gotten to the two's yet makes me feel frustrated. Then, I remember that every pound lost is a loss and one more that will never be seen again. I have to come to the realization that I am NOT anyone else and their results are not mine. I am not the fastest loser but I know I will get there...boy do I feel like the turtle in this race to success! The moral however, you are doing GREAT; your body is still trying to figure out what the heck is happening. Failure to lose weight quickly is not a failure, but failure to be dedicated and diligent (which you are) is a failure. You're doing the right things and taking the right steps! Relax and enjoy the journey to the new you!!
  27. You can eat popcorn???? I can't even have the crunchy veggies I want let alone popcorn...I ❤️ popcorn.
  28. 7 weeks out and have never felt hungry; I hope it stays that way for me.
  29. Bronxi!!! So glad you're back. I hope that you get well and Stay out of that hospital! Get lots of rest and nutrition so you can stay away from there!
  30. This is our struggle; this will be our triumph!!
  31. one month pre-op at Heart Walk 5k vs. 6 weeks post RNY
  32. Pretty sure it's not your pics (certain). You suffer just like we all do, our brains can't notice the change that others say they see. I had my 6 week appt today and my Mom said well finally you found someone you believe about your appearance (speaking about surgeon's reaction). I told my Mom that I believe her, I just don't see what she sees, I mean I see the clothes but not a change in my body per se. I think we have filters we need to remove...now how to do that?
  33. @@amylynns Look at your profile! Look at your face! Congrats!
  34. OMG yes!!! I NEED raw veggies/salad! I think I'm dying eating mushy veggies. I mean they taste good but I want sliced cucumber w hummus and just raw broccoli and cauliflower bcs they're yummy.
