Glad to report that after the initial few days of misery... It has subsided and I'm feeling much better everyday! It's important to be prepared for how awful you will probably feel initially after surgery.. But recovery is rather quick so just keep the goal in mind! Thank you for everyone's thoughts and prayers

I had my surgery 9/24/2014 and they let me come home yesterday!! And needless to say the gas pains are almost unbearable.. I have walked and walked and walked, taken gas-x and don't seem to be getting any relief. I'm also having a hard time drinking anything, because it just adds more gas, and I'm not really hungry.

I'm also wondering what kind of Protein Drinks people are drinking??

I mix up fuzzy navel Syntrax Nectar the night before...2 scoops and 4 cups Water is 46 grams of Protein. I also have unflavored Syntrax that I put in strained Soup for another 10 grams. And then, do a ready to drink. It is not as bad as I thought it would be

I like Premier Protein and muscle mill ready made. I also have some nectar to mix things up.
