  10. My before and after ... So far (12 weeks post-op)
  11. Wish I had known how hard the first month post-op would be, but I would do it 10 more times if I had to! Love VSG and all the amazing things it gives!
  12. Amazing girlfriend!! Congrats on your transformation! I'm about 11 weeks out so I'm still working on it, but happy with my progress so far too! Cheers to your accomplishments!
  13. So in love with VSG and what it has done for me Everyone looks so fabulous!!
  14. I am just about 10 weeks post op.. And I was surprised at how much I could eat. My brain has learned that I can graze now if I choose. Like perfect clockwork, I just had a conversation with my surgeon about the reality that food will become easier to eat and easier to eat larger quantities. I just started much more intense exercise so I'm motivated. Overall though, Thanksgiving was amazing and blessed I'm so thankful for this tool to help me better myself. Staying motivated
  15. Yay!!! This morning I weighed in at 199.4!! First goal done!
  16. Thank you both so much today I'm 200.0 LOL.. But I'm loving life and couldn't be happier! I love this forum and everyone on it for the support it provides!

  18. So excited and anxious at the same time. Today I'm 200.4 lbs... RUGHT THERE! But it's ok. I'm loving this journey so far!
  19. I hope everyone had a smooth surgery.. The first couple days can be rough.. But you'll get through it. Walk, walk, walk.. Don't stress about protein immediately you likely aren't going to be able to get much in. Be sure to focus on water though.. You must stay hydrated! If you struggle with nausea just remember that much of it is mental and ask you doctor for an anti nausea medication.. I ring know what I would have done without it! And just remember the first month is the toughest but there IS light at the end of that tunnel!
  20. Yes.. But mine has subsided for the most part. I find that drinking warm fluid helps. It relaxes the sleeve.
  21. This is just under 2 months post-op
  22. My first BEFORE and AFTER picture this is about a 50 lbs difference.
  23. Are you eating or drinking anything acidic? That's usually the culprit.
  24. I have been public about my surgery! I love telling others because WLS has a bad reputation and I don't feel that telling someone my weight loss is from diet and exercise is truthful... That just gives others false hope. I was open about it at work and Facebook. No one has been negative but if they were I would care about their opinion. God and VSG have changed my life and saved it.. I want to tell everyone!
  25. Coconut water didn't sit well for me during the first month but if you can tolerate it, it's wonderful and so healthy! Natural electrolytes too!!!
