October Surgery Date

  • Popular Post

Hi everyone!

Just came back from doctor's office and have a October 28th surgery date for Gastric Bypass. This is it, the high diving platform. Knees are trembling.

Anyone else in October? Let's keep in touch as we support each other. We have the pre-op diet and getting mentally ready for this.

LET'S DO IT!

Wow, I am really glad I found this group! All of this information is so helpful and is really going to be beneficial! I am feeling a bit overwhelmed today. Work is crazy and the next couple weeks preparing for surgery with the pre-op diet and appointments and blood work and everything else has my head spinning. Maybe I am overly sensitive today but I feel like either screaming or bursting out in tears or both! Ugh...I can get through this!

@kimodell69--I'm feeling that same way today!! I don't know what it is--but I'm making lists of food I need to buy (for my family) and stuff I'll need....and lists of what I want to get done before surgery.

It truly is like nesting while pregnant.

And I am SO flipping excited and anxious about the surgery--like you, I feel like either laughing or crying or screaming or all of the above!! :D

It's official the 28th is ON. Remember all that worrying about the stupid NUT notes. What a waste of time, it turns out she was right

Yay Beni! Great news!

@kimodell69---Surgery is the 20th at 7AM!!

When is yours?

Great news Beni ????

Good morning ! Mine is the 22nd.12 more days. I can do anything for 12 days!! I'm in Washington state.

its scolpamine. You wear it behind the ear it's a transdermal patch. My doctor is great he gave me all the prescription for the surgery so I could pick them up now.

mine did the same. Miracle drugs I say ????

Mine is 10/29 at 1pm :)

20 more days!!

They are to call Friday with the surgery time on Monday. It's kind of nice that it's on a holiday because my kids will be off.

I know mine is on the 25th not sure on what time. Last time I had surgery they tend to work on type 1 diabetics first in case of any bad complications I guess. Tended to just go there at 7am ????
