the bottom right incision is where my surgeon pulled the stomach through. They to.d us before surgery that incision would be the most painful. I am 4 weeks out as of today and mine is still a little sore at times.

I am one week and a day post surgery and my right incision just suddenly bruised up more and is hiring also. But I believe my doctor said they were pulling the excess from the left incision next to the drain. But at least I know other people are feeling the same so that's conforting.

My biggest incision (out of four) was tender for a couple of weeks. The smaller ones did not bother me at all.

Thanks guys....I also have to take into consideration that I have had a tummy tuck in the past, which also tightens muscles in that area.....along with 2 other surgeries around that area...I think I may have been doing too much around the house...I'm home from work and bored!

Agreed. i am going on 4 weeks post op and that incision hurts me as well. I know for sure that I am doing too much around here and need to slow it down some, lol.

I am a week out from surgery. They said the right side would be the most bothersome. That is the side that they take the stomach out through. Just ice, ice, ice. It helps!
