Congratulations!! I'm also excited because my surgery is also scheduled for October 7th! My bariatric practice has been teaching the importance of taking multivitamins daily. From my understanding even with taking multivitamin some people experience some hair loss around 3 or 4 months post-op. But the vitamins definitely keep the lost at a minimum. The vitamins are very important for overall well-being. I wish you the best on your journey!

October 7h as well.

Hair loss gas always happened you just notice it more just keep protein between 60-80grams per day either fluids or foods or both & if its bypass surgery take vitamins religiously to prevent deficiency.

I had my bypass July 22nd,2013 &still follow my protein & vitamin schedule.
