Is the rest of your family eating better

since you've been sleeved? My husband and I are both getting sleeved in September. We have 3 kids (9,12 & 13). My daughter, the 12 year old, is very athletic (gymnastics, tumble & cheerleader) and has never had a weight problem but both of my sons do have some issues. The youngest is just a tad chunky but my oldest is very heavy. He has started an exercise program at my daughters gymnastic/tumble gym. 3 days a week for the last 2-3 mths (2 nights of crossfit and 1 night they meet at the track and run). So far no real weight loss. He sneaks food sometimes tho. Anyway, just wondering if your whole family benefited from your surgery. Thanks!

While I was still in pre op stage we took all the junk food out. We all started eating clean and if we did go out to eat we researched and only went out once a month. But it was usually to our favorite Korean restaurant.

Now we eat clean now and my husband and daughter have a cheat day. I customize my chest meals to make them clean and bariatric friendly.

But honestly I didn't give my family a choice. LOL

It did help since my husband wanted to start bodybuilding again.

Yes. I don't have kids but my husband seems to be careful with his food choice especially for dinner.

He now adds more veggie to his meals (I don't cook for him since we got married because we eat different things, he's French and I'm Thai) and he doesn't eat carbs for dinner just like I did pre-op and post-op.

He's lost around 13 lbs since my surgery haha
