Waiting......

I had my final required appointment with my weight loss surgeon today. My case will now be submitted for insurance approval. It is now just a waiting game. I'm not good at waiting, lol.

    My insurance company is being very difficult. The have a 'preferred' group of weight loss physicians that encourage the gastric sleeve. This is something I'm not really interested in so I went to a different doctor (who still has privileges at my hospital and does lap band every day). The insurance has denied my coverage because it isn't their preferred group. Now time for the appeal process......
