100% REGRET THIS SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY

I regret having this surgery I wish I would have never gotten it. I had my sleeve done on August 11th and here it is August 17th and im still in the hospital because nothing stays down. My surgeon found that I had a hiatul hernia and repaired it during surgery. However, I still have not been able to eat or drink after that...so then he does a dialation and what do u know still nothing is going down to my pouch. I now have to get a stent put in my sleeve to see if that allows me to have any kind of success with holding anything down if not then he will perform gastric bypass on me...I dont think anyone can imagine how i feel right now...Have anyone else experienced this or something similiar if so please enlighten me on your journey please because I feel just feel like what i anticipated being the best decision i made in my life turned out to be the very worst decision of my life.

Thanks for the update. Was hoping to be able to find something good on you. Keep getting better!

I was sleeved on 8/6 so I'll be at two weeks tomorrow. I'm not getting very much in either, this really isn't easy and is taking some work to get through. I also had hiatal hernia repair at the time of my VSG, and have had sharp chest pains ongoing, which I'm told is typical with the hernia repair. I'm happy for people who don't have any issues following surgery, but know you aren't alone with not being in that lucky group.

Hopefully long term all of us, though we are having different circumstances, reach that goal of being healthier and glad with our decision.
