Hmmm...he had a whole panel of things checked off. I know there were a couple of B levels, Iron, CBC, zinc, folate...and about a dozen other things. haha

Mine is 4 months post-op.

Mine was 3 months...

mine is 3 months post op

Mine was seven months post-op for a lipid panel and a bunch of nutrients. All was good. My primary did some bloodwork at about three months, and that was only for a lipid panel and complete blood count.

Actually after the surgery they took my blood everyday for 5 days, also pricked the fingertip for blood sugar test. Everything was fine in the report then they released me.

My surgeon advised 3 months, 6 months and then annually. My 3 month was perfect, but my Calcium and Iron were elevated at 6 months so I decreased those supplements. Here's what I have tested....

• CBC, platelets

• Liver, Kidney,Thyroid Function

• Electrolytes

• Glucose

• Iron studies/Ferritin

Vitamin B12

• Lipid Profile

• 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D

. Zinc

. Folate

one month out, then every three months after that

Mine were done 6 months out, with complete metabolic panel, CBC with diff and platelets, TSH.

Standard for my clinic is full blood a 6 months. I ended up have gout as a side effect and had some of my blood work done at a month out. The pre diabetis was gone along with needing blood pressure meds. I am curious about Vitamin levels. The more people I talk with it seems with the band if you eat a balanced diet full blown Vitamins are not required. I plan to post the findings when I hit 6 months.
