I ate anything i wanted the night before. I thought honestly that I would not be able to eat it afterward. SILLY ME!!!!

Come back and let us know how you are doing.

I did not have a pre op diet..I ate Carnitas like it was my last meal the night before my surgery and everythingth me turned out fine. Dont worry..things will go great and you will be just fine

Good Luck Tomorrow~

Can't say I ate alot the night before, but will say I had clam chowder (4 bites) a week after. Then I got the hickups so load I had to stop.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

I ate a nice prime rib dinner the night before, my doc said special diets weren't necessary prior to surgery. I didn't have any problems

I was told not to eat after midnight the night before. So, at 11pm I was making a run to What-A-Burger to eat my last going away jalapeno chese burger (I was under the impression I would'nt be able to eat burgers after surgery, I was wrong.)

Also had some onion rings on the side. Can't remember the drink. I look back now and regret all those going away meals I treated myself to. I had to lose those pounds too! I gained 20 lbs. right before surgery! I was BAD!;)

I will be on my way to the hospital in a few minutes. I must admit i am a little scared. For some reason I am starting to feel pain in my stomach. I guess my stomach knows that something is about to happen to it. Well ladies and gentleman, this is it. I will talk to you all soon.:phanvan :nervous

Two days before surgery I wanted steak and rolls since I was told steak and soft breads would be hard after my banding. So my whole family got together and went to Texas Roadhouse and i had steak, rolls, and ribs!! good lord i still cant believe I ate all that, and I wish I hadnt becasue now I have to loose it all! LoL

Good luck and please let us know how u are ASAP!!!!

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do fine. By the way, I had BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, and carrot cake for my last dinner before surgery, and had no trouble. The surgeon said the only restriction was not to eat anything the morning of the operation.

Good luck!!!!

I didn't have a pre-op diet either and went out the night before surgery for a nice dinner with my brother. You'll do great and I can't wait to hear how your doing after surgery! Teresa
