Countdown to Onederland!

Recommended Posts

I feel like I am NEVER gonna get there. I am stuck at 202 - 203. Every pound lost is such a struggle. I have good restriction, I eat healthy foods, I exercise. Just give me a 199 already!

I almost can't believe it, I just went under 220 today and now I am ready to join this thread. The last time I was in Onderland was about 16 years ago!

For the first time in a long time that special place is in sight. I love my band!

Congratulations to everyone making it to Onederland. I am also 5 lbs away. I Can't wait. Onederland is my frist goal I set for myself. Everything after that is just a bonus for me. I would love to see 175lbs one day but as long as I am under 200, I am happy.

5...4...3...2...Onederland!!!!!!

I'm working on my onderland goal. The last time I was under 200 I was 20 years old when my oldest son was born. He will be 24 in july. My goal is to be under 200 by my 45th birthday September 15th. This morning my weight was 222 so that means I have to lose 2 pounds a week with no plateaus for that to happen. My highest weight was 315 so I have lost a good bit already.

I am 202.5 right now! So anxious to get to onederland - last week I gained a 1.5 lbs and was up to 206.5 due to be unfilled too much from a too tight fill. Sooo frustrating to go be going in the wrong direction, but have gotten it back down to 202.5 - so close but feels so far!!! My birthday is in 10 days and my goal and supreme birthday wish is to be in onederland for it!!

I am soooo jealous of you guys. My goal right now is to get down to 'Twodorland' and the weight seems to be going back up when it's not staying stagnant. I've gained about 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks so I'm back on Optifast to get past this hurdle. But I will be dancing in the streets if I can get past 300 lbs. Save a spot for me in 'Onederland', I'll get there someday.

You will get there someday! I weighed over 300lbs a year ago and I couldn't imagine being in onederland, it seemed so far away! But here I am today weighing 193lbs. Take it day by day. You can't focus on 100lbs all at once. Try focusing on 10lbs at a time. That worked very well for me. Eventually you'll get there!

Mamato, you're so close!!

Miki, Ann D, Sharona, susansilver, luvinke, cori in wa, scrappy friend, cindyg1212, phowell- good luck and hang in there!!

Just a word of encouragement to all those on their way to Onderland! I know it seems like it will never happen, but it WILL! You really can and you will do it.

I never thought I'd see 199 again, but I crossed that line and if I can do it, I know anyone can. I really thought I'd be the only one this amazing surgery couldn't save, but it did and I'm so proud and grateful every day.

Sometimes the weight loss stalls out and I get so frustrated I could cry. But keep at it, do the best you can and the stall will break. It really will.

I'm so proud of you all. :biggrin2:

Miki I;m right there with you I weight 202 this morning. I am getting very exctied its like chirstmas morning when I ws a kid. I'll probably scream when I make it and wake up the neighborhood. I always weigh in in the morning after waking up at 5AM.

Almost there. I have decided to tell my DH what my starting weight was after I reach this goal. He thinks I started at 200lbs. yeah right.

Anyway good luck to all and keep up the good work.

Well, my band seems tighter the past 3 days or so and I'm grateful because the scale is going down again. I'm 4 pounds away from onederland and have a personal commitment to do it by July 4th.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
