  2. I agree with Kat that is not the norm at all. There must be a serious problem not identified prior to surgery or poor placement. Good luck to you and don't give up a good GI surgeon should be able to find a solution for you. sharon:)
  3. I had gained 6 lbs so 5 lbs are gone....gosh it is nice to have resriction back...not at ideal but that 1 cc back in made the world of difference....scrappy you are amazing....pretty soon you'll be told you have to "gain" weight....
  4. Unfortunately the floodgates are opened after getting 2 cc's out of the band :smile2: Looking forward to another fill on Tuesday..struggling to keep my mouth shut.....

  7. I was 57 when I got it done and would have gotten it done in my 20's if it was available. It has been the best decision I've ever made...
  8. Melissa I'm so sorry this happened to you and your husband. I agree stay in the states...if you can get an aggressive enough physician/group to fill you adequately you shouldn't need that many fills. I'm so glad you are both okay though..
  9. Hey Connecticut Man long time since I've heard from you....how are you ding???? I just met my one year anniversary and had a million dollar workup...bloodwork and upper GI series....lost 62 lbs this year...how about you??? best thing I ever did.... hope you are well.... sharon:)
  10. I was banded on 3/12 and have only lost 60 lbs...now that's slow. I haven't lost a thing in the last few months, very frustrating. Haven't been to the gym since November as I stay away from large crowd in the winter due to my ability to pick up bronchitis and respiratory infection really easy...spent time in the hospital last year wit h pneumonia and it scared me. Hoping when I start back I will be able to get this off a little quicker...but you know its been slow but steady...I'm ok with that sharon:)
  11. i started at 244 and am down to 188....can't gauge what others are doing, I never had a time frame and I've lost consistently every month.....a little at a time..
  12. You can just add yourself in by quoting it and then adding your name and weight...good luck
  13. I lost my ticker and tried to get it changed...its too late to play around with it...just got home from work and am tired i'll try to mess with i tomorrow....:cursing:
