Abdominal pain since staples removed

Hi, I'm 16 days out and had my two week check up and they removed my staples three days ago. I have noticed more abdominal pain and discomfort since then. Not sure if this is normal part of the muscles trying to heal or if maybe I've hurt myself somehow. Anyone with any experience and knowledge on this would be appreciated...

Staples?

Did you have an open procedure? I just had steri-strips and superglue - which itches...

Different surgeons use different closure methods. I had staples to close my incisions and my procedure was laprascopic.

I had staples, but they were removed before I was discharged, and replaced with steristrips. I never had any issues with pain associates with the staples. You might want to call your doctor to make sure it's normal.

I had a laproscopic surgery. They placed the terri strips on when they removed the staples. I will give my Dr. a call if it doesn't ease up on Monday!

I had glue and stitches. I'm glad I didn't have staples. Would have freaked me out I think. The stitches were gross enough! Lol!
