OMG guys! Been without internet all week! ARGH!

What happened to the site?!?!? It looks great, but I will have to get used to it. I have SO much catching up to do on here...so much reading!

I missed y'all so much, you have NO IDEA! I will post more later after I have a chance to catch up on a weeks' worth of posts!

Hi Joyce,

I've been adjusted several times, including two unfills due to being closed off, and don't quite have my sweet spot (perfect fill) but I'm okay with that. I think it just depends on you. Some people never get adjusted at all, and they are losing. Thirty pounds is good though!!

What the heck Stef, don't you KNOW by now you're not supposed to adjust your ticker for gains!!

Shit, I know...but I was too far up and felt like I was lying! I'll get my groove back. I'm too damn stubborn to accept this of myself! LOL

Thanks for the link to ZUMBA.com. There is a class in Ovilla, which is approx 15 minutes from my house. I am going to try the Monday night class.

It's $10.00 a class since I'm not a member of that particular gym. If I like Zumba, it will be worth it....just to give my workout some variety. Currently I only do 40 minutes on the elipitcal machine.

I'll let you know how it works out.

Oh STef! I'd NEVER adjust my ticker to show a GAIN! Lol. You're so silly! You should just *assume* it's *muscle* and go on. Lol.

Well, right now you are EXACTLY halfway to your goal Thats kick ass.

hello all. I could not beleive the changes either! It looks brighter but could not figure out how to get here! I think I clicked under, " my profile"? I will see next time.

stef welcome back....I missed all your creative posts. I am glad you are back to the routine!

This weekend was crazy, with family and everyone in and out of my house. I did ok with the food, but did not log or keep track, so not sure. I still have to be careful how I eat and not to eat to fast. I have not been on the scale. YIKES> maybe I am afraid.

well, take care. have a great day!

I didn't notice that it was exactly halfway...you're right! Pretty cool.

Hey, and the good news is that it probably IS muscle! I had my body fat measured again and it's a tad lower, so that is what it looks like anyhow. And even though my weight is up, my clothes are not any tighter...maybe even a little looser. So it probably is muscle. However, the number is still the same, so I'm leaving it to reflect my true number, even though it's higher.

Uh guys... I need an intervention!!

I have to work the 4p-12a shift at the hospital all week... they are ALWAYS eating! (I worked that shift for 2 years when I first started at the hospital, nearly 5 years ago now and gained like 40 pounds in that time!) So I get there last night and they had flippin PIZZA! I haven't TRIED pizza since surgery... so I was scared. I wanted it for sure, it smelled good! No one at work knows about my lapband, so I figured I'd take ONE slice and just eat it slowly... which I did... and it went down fine. I then ate 2 more slices throughout the night. And I ate 4 brownies. Ugh!!!!!!!

So today the scales have me up about 3 pounds. I'm so mad at myself. Why'd I even try the pizza? I had taken a perfectly nutritious meal to work with me for my 'dinner'...

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
