I posted my anniversary pix on the Junies 6 month page. I really hadn't felt like I lost that much until I compared the photos today.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Wow Insub, MM and Lucy! You guys are kickin' it!

My bandiversary is on the 18th. Since my weight has crept up about 7 pounds in the last month, maybe I'll repost last month's pics? <G>

Found another good Protein bar at smoothie King!

Lean Body Gold is the name. I bought Almond Fudge and Caramel Peanut. Haven't tried the Caramel Peanut yet, but the Almond Fudge is great! It has 3 more net carbs and 5 more sugars, but the numbers are still fantastic. And the texture is even better. Still 30 grams of protein.

(OMG...looking for a pic I found other flavors on Amazon! Texas Pecan Praline?!?!? That has GOT to be good! There is Caramel Cookie Twist and Caramel Almond, too.)

I think the Cookie Twist has crisps instead of nuts. I'll verify that tomorrow. Found out that Smoothie King closes early on Sundays and I missed out one, so I will definitely be there tomorrow. I see on a lot of foods disclaiming that their product contains no nuts, but may be processed on equipment that also processes nuts...is that a problem, as well for you? I don't know if thier label says that or not just yet for that flavor. It would be great if we could find a good one for you. Keep your fingers crossed and I will buy one tomorrow so I can put the label up on the board.

Thanks, Big baby!

Stef, you are the Protein bar queen! If you find out about the no nuts, let me know. I can eat things that have been processed on the same equipment as nuts -- it's not an allergy, but an intestinal disorder where I don't digest nuts and seeds well. If it's creamy Peanut Butter, for example, I can eat it. But if there are chunks of nuts, it won't work. Thank you!

I was looking forward to going to Smoothie King all day yesterday. When I pulled in last night, they were closed!!! I didn't check to see if they closed early on Sundays or if they just aren't open. I was SO disappointed! So not only didn't I get my smoothie, I wasn't able to get that Protein bar. But I am definitely going tonight!!!

I checked out the six month pix thread...everyone looks so good!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
