Hoping to get the 'band'.

Hi, my name is Dixie, I have written here a few times. I am still waiting for the band. I have gone to the seminar, 1st dr. appt., had blood work, chest xray, ekg, have to have a stress test, go to nutrition class, have 6 months of documented weight loss progress notes from my PCP. I don't know how long it'll be before I fianlly get the band. Cigna is my insurance. Wish me luck!!

Dixie,

I do wish you luck.

Use this time to start doing a 15 minute walk each day. Just leave your house and walk away for about 7 minutes, then walk back. Don't worry about the neighbors.

Choosing the band for yourself was the first step in your recovery from the control food has on you.

The lapband road is not an easy one but so WORTH IT.

I feel so much healthier now. It is hard to carry all the extra us around.

Best wishes,

edie

Edie,

Thanks for the reply and words of encouragment. I appreciate it.

Dixie, good luck to you. I know how insurances can be. You just have to be patient. Mine was approved after they scheduled my surgery. That might make it faster for you. You can always postpone. Julie
