Six months of weight lose programe.

Hi everyone,

I just received my letter from the insurance specialist from the Barix Clinic. I need to provide documentation from my primary doctor of failed supervised diet. I don't have it. Does that mean I will need to join WW for six months to provide this?

I have B/C B/S of MI.

Thank you

Sometimes that is what you need to do, others go their PCP and they are weighed and put on a diet, and they go there six straight months. Call your insurance or the insurance specialist or BOTH!

You and I have the same insurance I had to do a 6 month weight management, for 6 months, and I had already completed weight watchers as well as medical weight lost they said since it was two years ago I had to do the 6 months. Good luck.

I completed 6 months of WW and BCBS of MN wouldn't accept it because my doctor (PCP) didn't document my monthly visits in the medical records. My PCP wrote a letter but BCBS is picky.

I am now starting another 6 months of scheduled nutritionist visits. I should be done in September. I was bummed out because I wanted to have surgery in June. Everything happens for a reason.

Sooo... I plan to ENJOY my summer - steaks and burgers on the grill, fresh fruits/veggies from the farmers market and the last summer of Plus Size clothes!!
