I bought these pants a few days ago and wore them for the first time today!! SIZE 8!!!!!

Whooooohoooo!!!!

I've been a little upset with my scale, but I'm about to focus on muscle instead. I was dead-set on getting to goal before I muscle up (head games, I know). But pics like this help put things into perspective. So, I think I'll throw out the number goal and start lifting ??

Pic: size 18 vs size 8!

:)

I have been strength training for 6 months and I think it has totally helped. I weight more than I'd like but I wear a smaller size than other people my weight because of lifting. Congrats & Go for it!

@@jdillon - I just followed my doc's rules & made a few of my own (no rice, potatoes, bread, or pasta). I workout 3 or more times a week (usually everyday)... Jogging, TaeBo, BodyFlow classes, yoga classes, and a few different things around the house (squats, hand weights, planks, stuff like that).

Hey there! Wow, you look phenomenal! I'm just finally into the size 14's, so I'm far out from an 8, however I'm curious how your arms toned up? I've been lifting weights, running, going to barre classes, etc... (I'm 28 years old) and I am just hating my arms currently! I was hoping to hear if your arms have toned or what your thoughts are??

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
